The production process of automobile roofs is generally divided into two processes: dry and wet. Both processes require high-temperature hot pressing mold molding. Automobile roof production generally uses thermoplastic materials, which cooperate with the mold under the pressure of the automobile roof interior molding hydraulic press to complete the hot pressing molding process.
During the hot pressing production process of automobile interior ceilings, the mold needs to be controlled at a certain temperature. The wet process generally heats the interior mold directly, so the accuracy of mold temperature control is relatively high. Generally, the oil circuit is directly made inside the mold, so the uniformity of the mold is also relatively high. Of course, this also increases a certain amount of cost.
1200-ton Automobile Ceiling Interior Molding Hydraulic Press
The structure of the interior molding hydraulic press can be either an integral frame type or a four-column type. It adopts a computer-optimized design; the hydraulic system is placed on top and occupies a small area. The hydraulic control adopts a cartridge valve integrated system, which is reliable in action, easy to maintain, has a long service life, and has a small hydraulic shock.
The independent electrical control system adopts button centralized control and has two operation modes: adjustment and two-hand single cycle. Through the operation panel selection, two molding processes of fixed stroke and fixed pressure can be realized, and it has the performance of pressure holding and delay. The pressure and stroke can be adjusted within the specified range according to the process requirements. It is equipped with a mobile workbench, which is convenient for changing molds.
The Process Flow of the Hydraulic Press for Molding the Automobile Ceiling is as Follows:
(1) Preheating and prepressing stage. The main purpose of this stage is to melt the resin, remove volatiles, impregnate the fibers, and gradually solidify the resin to a gel state. The molding pressure at this stage is 1/3-1/2 of the full pressure.
(2) Intermediate insulation stage. The function of this stage is to solidify the tape at a lower reaction rate. During the insulation process, close attention should be paid to the flow of the resin. When the resin that has flowed out has gelled and cannot be drawn into filaments, full pressure should be applied immediately.
(3) Heating stage. The purpose is to increase the reaction temperature and accelerate the curing speed. At this time, the heating rate cannot be too fast, otherwise it will cause sudden polymerization, causing the heat release of the curing reaction to be too concentrated, resulting in delamination between the material layers.
(4) Hot pressing and insulation stage. The purpose is to fully solidify the resin. The period from adding full pressure to the end of the entire hot pressing is called the hot pressing stage. The time from reaching the specified hot pressing temperature to the end of the hot pressing is called the constant temperature time. The formula also determines the temperature, pressure and constant temperature time of the hot pressing stage.
(5) Cooling stage. To maintain pressure, natural cooling or forced cooling to room temperature is adopted. Then, the pressure is released, and the product is removed. If the cooling time is too short, it is easy to cause the product to warp, crack, etc. If the cooling time is too long, it will not significantly improve the product quality but will significantly reduce the production efficiency.
